CLAIRE VAN KULER
Claire van Kuler (Lelystad, 2 July 1986) graduated from the Artemis Styling Academy in Rotterdam in 2007, in the direction fashiondesign. During her study she created a love for fashion, fabrics and illustration.
The story behind her graduation collection "Light in the Darkness" is that in the winter, when the sky is grey, everything seems more gloomy then in the summer, when the sun presents everything with a warm glow. People feel negative and less energetic . That's why there is Light in the Darkness, a collection inspired by light to give new energy in the dark winter. As a light cure that gives you a positive feeling.
October 2009 Claire participated in a fashion show with the theme "Calvinism, religion and fashion" in the medieval Big Church (Onze-Lieve-Vrouwekerk) of Dordrecht.
Spring 2010 Claire started to design for her own label "CLAIRE VAN KULER".
Summer 2010 she opened a webshop, named "Claire Shop". Besides her own collection of exclusive handmade clothing and accessories, she also sells "film & fashion" dvd's and inspiring magazines.
Her new autumn/winter collection "In Bloom" is now available.
Claire van Kuler creates custom designs on request.
